Jenna Ebersberger

is a bicoastal writer and performer hailing from Los Angeles, California. She received a BA in Theater Arts (Acting) and Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and went on to perform at Chicago’s famous Second City Conservatory. Jenna then moved to New York after receiving a scholarship to NYU’s prestigious Dramatic Writing MFA program. During her last semester, she applied for an internship at Saturday Night Live, where they instead offered her a full-time job working as the researcher for Weekend Update's graphics department. She now helps bring to life the visual punchlines of Update, while also contributing weekly jokes!

Jenna has showcased for the Just For Laughs New Faces of Comedy Characters and currently performs at the Los Angeles comedy theater The Groundlings in their Advanced Writing Lab. Off stage, Jenna has worked in television production as a showrunner and writer’s assistant for shows on various networks.  Jenna’s own written work consists of half-hour comedies and sitcoms that always include a messy, scrappy female struggling to evolve. She focuses on the cocoon phase, believing that comedy is most successful when intertwined with a little bit of existential dread!
