Jenna Ebersberger

is a writer and performer from Los Angeles, California. Jenna recently graduated with an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch, where she applied for an internship at Saturday Night Live, but instead, was offered a full-time position working as the researcher for Weekend Update's Graphics Department. Each week, she helped bring to life the visual punchlines while also contributing jokes!

Jenna has an extensive background in comedy and is a proud alumnus of The Second City Conservatory in Chicago. She has showcased for the Just For Laughs New Faces of Comedy for her scrappy original characters and was asked to join the infamous Groundlings Theater Sunday Company cast. Starting in the spring, Jenna will write and perform brand new material every single week on the Groundlings main stage.

Off stage, Jenna has worked in television production, starting as an office PA and climbing to support staff as a showrunner and writer’s assistant for shows such as Star Trek Discovery. Jenna’s writing consists of half-hour comedies and sitcoms that always include a messy, “difficult” female struggling to evolve. She focuses on the cocoon phase, believing that comedy is most successful when intertwined with tragedy.
